Deep V oil sump with external oil filter, with oil sight glass

Deep V design provides a deeper oil pool for the pump to draw from, reducing the incidence of pump cavitation under braking and acceleration. This version has a sight glass installed for easy, visible oil level inspection. The pan also lowers the engine oil surface level relative to the crankshaft for improved crankcase ventilation function. External oil filter mounting location allows easy oil filter changes without removing the sump. No external add-ons, no extra hoses, no additional plumbing. Fits all big twins with conventional oil pans and original oil fiters, 1975 through 2012 California Black Eagle. Does not fit spine frame models, does not fit models with CARC.
