New and improved brake cable for Ambassador and Eldorado models with the standard "civilian" or "850GT" handlebar, and the 2 shoe front drum brake. New production cable has stout 2.5mm thick wire and 6.8mm thick cable sheath. The cable end fittings are soldered to the wire, not crimped. Overall length is approximately 65.5 inches. For safety considerations, this cable includes a built in brake light switch just like the original brake cables for the Ambassador and Eldorado. This cable can also be used on the V700 by adding 2 additional wires from the brake switch on this cable to the rear brake switch.
