MG Cycle Supports the Sport

Here at MG CYCLE, we know that racing a Guzzi takes more than a casual effort. And we know that it takes a serious commitment in time and resources. We also know that street riding Moto Guzzi riders typically appreciate having their favorite motorcycles on the starting grid, and like to cheer for the Guzzis when they're in competition. In order to promote Moto Guzzi racing efforts here in the United States, MG Cycle provides a modest level of support to the guys that put the bikes on the track. In turn, our hope is that all you Guzzi riders will show up on race day, and let these guys know that they're fun to watch, and that it's great to see that fan support can allow the esteemed Moto Guzzi tradition of racing and competition to continue.

Stan's Moto Guzzi, Gainesville, Florida

2005 2005 AHRMA Battle of Twins F2 and Vintage Superbike Heavyweight National Champions. Riders Andrew Cowell & Will Harding have scored another pair of national championships for Stan's Moto Guzzi in 2005.

2004 2004 AHRMA National Champions Battle of Twins Formula 2. And a strong contestant for BOT F1, poised for #1, but taking 3rd due to a crash. Stan Friduss's racing team has been a force to be reckoned with on the American vintage motorcycle circuit for years. Truly a first class team. Watch for them at AHRMA events across the country.

Charley Cole, Zydeco Racing, Sag Harbor, New York

Numerous Titles from multiple vintage road race sanctioning bodies.

Ken Pitts, Asheville, North Carolina

AHRMA BEARS (British European American Race Series)

Ken has been successfully racing a Moto Guzzi Loop-Frame for a few years, previously earning a championship in AHRMA Historic Production Heavyweight, and now racing in BEARS. There are very few Americans racing the old V700/750 chassis, probably not many people racing them worldwide. Truly something worth going to see.

Tom Liberatore, Pepperoni Bros. Racing, Talmage, California

Tom set out with a goal in mind and reached it - he's a world land speed record holder with his Guzzi V7Sport. In October 2004 at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, Tom coaxed an average speed of 120.248mph from his Guzzi, earning a Southern California Timing Association World Land Speed Record in the 750CCP-PP Class. Tom literally dissolved the old record of 108mph, besting it by over 12mph.
