Thumb screw set for battery covers: V700 Ambassador Eldorado

13706600 One pair of thumb screws to retain the battery side covers to V700 and A series Ambassadors with non-louvered battery covers.  Steel shaft molded into plastic head as original.  Sold only in pairs.This item is also a great replacement for the the unavailable later version screw 13706600: simply slide a short (~2 inch) section of black rubber fuel hose over the unthreaded rod shaft and they work perfectly on the later louvered battery covers found on most Ambassadors, and all Eldorados and 850GTs. The rubber hose provides grip to prevent the screws from backing out, and the location under the edge of the seat renders them virtually invisible.
