Solid state adjustable voltage regulator for Bosch alternator systems as used by Guzzi from 1972-1992. Direct plug and play, accepts existing 3 prong plug and mounting points. Stock position mounting points. Trimscrew allows you to fine tune your maximum charge rate. Factory setpoint is 14.2 volts DC.
This regulator is a favorite of owners whose bikes get little highway running to keep a topped up battery. Also Convert owners who run at lower RPMs, and riders with multiple electric devices or lighting.
NOTE: Minute adjustment of the trim pot makes for significant changes in charge voltage. Installation is accomplished with carefull attention to voltmeter readings while adjusting. Clockwise turning of the trim pot increases voltage. Do not excede 14.5 volts stabilized charge rate. Make sure battery is fully charged before making adjustment.
